The lodge is laid out in a circular fashion with a 1000 year old Baobab tree in the center. An open lapa with swimming pool is the hub of activity in the camp.

It has a fireplace, bar, dining room table and lounge. 8 – 15 people can easily be accommodated. A smaller lapa is also available if a group wishes to split.

Separate toilet and shower facilities are available for people who are not staying overnight, but just need to freshen up.

Rondavels are all on-suite with air conditioning. A Thatch roof brings about a rustic African feel and is very cool in summer and cosy in winter.

The facilities

The big Lapa has a fireplace, satellite TV, bar and dinner facilities. The veranda looks out onto the pool and beautiful garden. 15 guests can comfortably be accomodated in the lodge.

The garden and pool-area is always very well kept, so that you can enjoy your stay at BAKSTAAN GAME LODGE.

The accomodation

Kodoe is one of the rondavels in which up to 5 people can be accomodated. On-suit bathroom facilities with air conditioning in the rooms are standard in all rondavels.
